Dear Amanda.

Thank you for your kindness at such a difficult time for you. I'm touched that you remembered dad, and feel quite humbled- after all, he'd had a long and full life, unlike precious Marianna (sorry- hope I don't upset you).
We had a mass for him on Thursday and will be having another on his month's anniversary.

I have my ups and downs- some days I feel like I'm on automatic pilot. It's the little things that trip me up, like today- I have kept some of his special geranium plants ( he was a kee gardener) and want to take some cuttings- I almost phoned him to ask how to do it!!!!

Mum's ok- my brothers have been marvellous. She's now back in her own home and is coping. I jut wish I lived nearer and could help more.care of yourelf
